Isratrance has been fertile ground for some very interesting observations I have made over the years in the areas of group think and social psychology.

For example the "mutual díck sucking societies" as I like to call them in the DJ Mix section, where the same people tell each other how great their mixes are over and over again until they drown in a pool of their own cum and self-indulgence.

Or the way collective tastes shift over time, from psy vs. minimal towards full-on vs. prog-psy towards ther emergence of dark-psy and techno, and how these debates always stay the same, yet the object being discussed changes according to shifting collective tastes. And particularly interesting is to observe certain "taste-makers" leading the dicussion into new directions, and it always the same people, generelly to be categorized into the meta-categories conservatives ("I want everything shanti-flouro the way it used to be in Anjuna in 1992 and everything else does not deserve to be discussed on this forum, you coke-addicted techno asshole") vs. liberals ("Music changes over time, lets be open to new sounds and new influences, I get bored with anything I hear twice in a row, so go back to the insane asylum with your other braindead LSD victims and listen to 48 hours of Goa Gil trainwrecking his DAT recorder").

Anyways, just dsome of the things I have learned at Isratrance...

I enjoy isratrance, often when i am on the net i log in and then get kinda "trapped",in a good way

My lessons are a bit diversified,i think this is like a microcosmos of a macrocosmos, when it comes to general ways of thinking and experiencing the psy music and events etc.

One difference should be that people here have a genuine interest in the music and not just party ,etc.Otherwise they would not care.On events etc there are much people who not are really into the music but just wants another party or some fun, people here i think are mostly interested in the core of this, the music itself.

However,thump up isratrance for existing

Indeed, "oneself*" seems to be the middle/centre of the universe.
