Hello
I have been going to Goa since 2000.
In my experience I have seen it transform from a place that held crazy outdoor parties to the bizzare club scene that exists today.
People have changed as well. After a few years I stopped seeing familiar faces. I took a gap of three years 2007 - 2009 and when I went back I only saw new faces everywhere. Goa had become more commercial.
Police station near Hill top, Dominos Pizza at vagator and Cafe Coffee day in Anjuna.
Even with the politics of Goan party organizers the party is still surviving but there are no more parties that go on till noon, everything now closes around sunrise time. To me these changes have taken away a lot from the experience called Goa..
Things that have stayed the same
Killer Sunsets
Killer Beaches (Morjim and Arambol)
Killer food
Killer Beer (Kings ROX)

People changed because the situation made them change. I still love Goa that place is still magical and it has got its own energy.
It has changed alot we will have to accept it and move on.
What I hate a lot is the drunk people who are allowed entry to parties.
Dude even the taste of Kings beer has changed IMHO.
Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons. |

I came to this topic in search of the big picture, where is it?
