It would be very easy to turn all this into a psytrance allegory and talk only in musical terms. Surely, every vigilant moderator would be satisfied with that. We can discuss differences between FM-based psycore and “organic” forest trance, for example. See, we didn’t even leave the darkpsy subgenre yet.
But why discuss metallic tzwick-tzwack vs. tree creaks if we can discuss machines vs. forests directly?
