Well, it's not exactly true that I have never released anything.
All in all I have released more than 20 trance tracks with different labels under different projects.
I guess The reason I speak like this is that I hardly ever seen any money from those releases to speak about.
I have earned more money on half a days work making TV jingles than on all my trance releases together.
So it both bothers me with all this squibbleing about petty cash and that the labels just whinch instead of using their energy to find out ways to actually make some money on the releases.
And yes, I try to find other ways of distributing my and others music without all the bullskit that is involved when dealing with labels in my experience.
So, yes I'm trying to do things differently.
It don't give me a lot of money, but I sure feel better about it then working with the labels.
How and why that bothers you I don't know.
Another reason I speak like this is that I actually been trying to look in to the facts about what is happening with music distrubution and how the future looks, and if you want to discuss facts in a serious manner then we can do that.
The people crying from my experience do not seem to have a clue what they talk about though, and I haven't seen anyone actually referencing to facts or research proving that downloading reduce their sales.
So for me their cries is only pathetic, and according to what I know unfounded.
So my main concern is not if I get things released or not or if I make money on it or not.
I just can't stand all the bad vibes and BS around this scene at the moment, so I voice my opinion and create a way to get my music out that I feel comfortable with.
I'm sorry if that makes you uncomfortable and make you feel like creating some bad vibes, but it seems to be what trance people like to do nowadays.
It all used to be about sharing with free parties and free music when I got in to this scene.
Now if someone does something for love for the music without interest for making money it's considered bad.
Shame the way things have been turning out.

Just a question, how come 90% of your posts in this forum is promoting kemic-al?
Maybe xazy is only a pseudonym??
Or do you not have a life and spend all your time in the forum making topics and posts trying to promote your favourite artist?
I'm sorry if you actually are Aldo and my post offended you, because then I can understand you felt targeted by what I was saying.

You obviously want to create a stir with your effort to try to stop filesharing.
You did stir me up, and I think the attitude that you and many other label owners in this scene have is destructive and does not help your sales whatsoever.
All you do is make bad vibes and waste energy you could use trying to make sure that it will be possible for your lables to keep existing in the future.
You might not agree...fine, but then post some serious arguments about your thoughts how to deal with reality and the future of music distribution under your real name.
To hide away from reality will not help you to run a business for sure....if that is the main intention rather than getting your music out there for people to enjoy.

Man you are being below the belt !!!
Now as you maybe noticed that was a copy paste from an private e-mail that was sent to labels, which in the email it's self we stated clearly that such email will not be public ie: on isra trance topic or any other music related forum p_mac did a big mistake putting that up,
Seconly thanks for accusing me in such way about being xasy , I thought you were a friend ! , xasy happens to be a very good friend of mine he likes the music I make and I have no control if he wants to promote my music ! is there !?
So please next time don't jump into conclusions this way have respect like I have for you !

Well, do a search on the posts from your friend xazy.
He only made a couple of posts where he's not promoting you, and there he is instead is attacking ganja gill.
The frequent use of caps lock and the tone and use of language made me jump to conclusions.
I can understand he likes your music, because you seem very similar characters.
I got suspicious and was trying to enquire if it really was you trying to attack me under a pseudonym.
Since you say that xazy is not you I have to believe you and we leave that behind.
To see the page up there all day yesterday and then suddenly get deleted when the discussion started about the pseudonym made me again jump to conclusions about the real reason for the deletion.
I'm not trying to attack you or deal any below the belt punches, but the course of events made me question my respect for you and for this site.
Instead of holding on to those feelings I rather confront them and try to get clear picture of what happened.

I must say you really you do make me loose respect for you and this site.
You obvioulsy can't handle to stand up for yourself, so just contact the moderators and get it deleted.
It's apperently enough with a one line message to get three pages of posts deleted anyway, very nice moderation.

yes i recieved this email from aldo... yes it stated that it was for the labels info only and not to be posted here or anywhere else... sites like these are something we may not be able to stop, but by putting up threads here we are just promoting them, you cannot blame a label for wanting to put a stop to copyright theft (which is a crime) when they put so much energy, time and money into doing things properly for the artists (well the majority of the time) and then get shat on by someone freely distributing 'for the love of it' ... yes the scene started with ppl trading dats. minidisc etc.. and p2p filesharing maybe here to stay, but this is different... |

just saying how I agree with spindrift..
some labels seem to be using their energies (time and money) on stopping music trade (impossible!), when they should be using it to make their products more attractive, like with better covers (I see many big labels making shitty 1-page covers), less ´formula´ music, taking chance on new artists, making better advertisement, concept products and cds, coming up with diferent ideas etc etc... |

This whole story about the deleted thread just reinforced my views on how this forum is actually not about discussion and free speach (a thread that was not offensive at all imo, but was confronting), but it is about promotion for labels and artists. There is nothing wrong with that, but if that is the case, do not call it a public forum.
