How is this Finnish guy going to relate to Evyatar Banay? It's Israeli Pop music.
Anyone can give you 1000 examples of great songs made with a piano, or a keyboard, or a synthesizer. But none of them are going to be Psychadelic, which is what our crazy Finnish friend is obviously looking for.
Hey Sieni: Fire one up and check out Pink Floyd: Echoes, it doesn't get any more Psychadelic then this.

Listen to some classic symphonies by Beethoven, Bach or similar and you'll get your piano fix (yes its not psy, but they share some of the same elements and feelings)

The Piano is a very good film (imho).
And it's theme is also very authentic and beautiful (composed by Michael Nyman).
In most psytrance tracks the piano vocals aren't authentic anyway (both aren't made by a real piano or just 'not it').
Try some avant-classical, classical romantic, post modernic classical music or maybe some un-classical stuff.
The piano is always there.

Uh, I was actually talking about the piano in trance and ambient, well the lack of it anyways. I listen to alot of classical music, but I just love the piano in electronic music. It doesn't really matter if it's quite simple pattern or nice solo. I'm talking about tracks like Jörg on Mushroom - The Messenger, some other Infected tunes, Space Cat & Elysium - Liquid Dub Connection.. U know that kind of piano..

I love the piano in music. makes it sound more artistic(like a piece of art), but many people say a track with piano is cheezy(infected for example). Well for sure lately you dont hear them use the piano in music. Maybe because so much music is made on just computers lately. |
