I was in Cali for 2 yrs, now moved to India..I am shocked and disgusted to learn about the recent turn of events in this country,.and the subsequent closure of the India forum.
Could someone give me leads about the same ?
There is no thrill in life without party!! |

it's a long story dude .. you won't find anything on the forum .. you can google up news paper articles about all this ..
enjoy the boom in india ..

India is perrfect , just about gettin good as the time goes by , some real nice places to explore and along with goa and the enlightened hills up north it remains one of the most sought after places to be visited in the hippie calender as well as loads n loads of ppl who come to india looking for various other forms of fun as well as knowledge n many more things ..
well last few months the party situation has been quite low n sad mainly coz of the busts that took place in pune and the one in bombay couple of months before ..i must say that both of these events were made by the organizers who were rookies to say the least and those parties were made more so for other formalities that some of the ppl in scene dedicate much of there time to tho its illegal in india n most of other places but the laws hv become a lil bit more stricter in last few months ..
and it has also helped in a way as many of wannabes and THE UNWANTED ELEMENTS no more relate themselves to the scene here [and these are the people at first place who are responsible for the downslide in terms of parties ]
But nothing much to worry about as there is a whole new wave of psychedelic culture brewing up mainly along the cities like bombay and the state of mind known as "GOA"..
also some nice fests in nepal ard the season time .
so its all good n BOOM
u just have to wait and remember to keep the right connections and u will be on ur way to a treatful psychedelic gathering very soon

nothings happened to India dude.. in fact this way is better. Remains underground and true. just keep searchin and you'll find some really great psychedelic gatherings.

the party burst was to happen....with organizers promoting the parties 6 - 8 mnths in advance (moondust) and wanna bes making communities in 'orkut' abt the parties....also indian kids were posting shit on the isra indian forum and the media could trace the party scene thru the forum so they had to lock the forum
this way its pretty good that the scene will remain underground...
also its the best season to explore india mate....india is a party in itself....go north wher its in bloom season in the mountains....and goa is amazing in the rains...have fun

^^ agree with karma cola .Lotsa kids got it into their head that the music abt is about drugs and drugs are "cool".it's that attitude that made th scene collapse. |
