Do you rent DVD's, or simply download them from torrent sites? what do you pay for the usual dvds in your country?

I rent or download new movies usually. My absolute favs or the movies I can watch more than once or twice I will buy on blu-ray, just to have it in the best possible format on home video. I usually don't spend more than $20 USD on a blu-ray unless it is a brand new release and I just can't wait.

Classics I buy on Blu Ray. The others I obtain not so legally. 720P MKV/WMA or higher.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I rent a lot of movies, since many old titles have been released on DVD.
And I also go to the theatre, now and then.

DLing, mainly what I can't find for rental.

I buy DVDs. As per now, I own exactly 30 pieces, and I watch them over and over again. Sometimes I also borrow some from a friend who basically has a video store at home.

Blu Ray my ass. First, there's a spelling mistake in its name, and secondly, stop inventing new media on annual basis, it's annoying.

Then again, I'm not that much into movies.

I rent the new releases and burn a copy of the ones i very much like.I dont download movies from the net and i never buy new releases original since the prices are high at least in Greece where i live.

My favorite habbit though is to visit big stores that sell dvd's and buy old classics for extremely low prices.Last week i bought titles like Zulu with Michael Caine and some stuff by Akira Kurosawa and Luis Bunuel for as low as 3-5 euros per title which is a great bargain since you can buy five original films for just 20 euros.

I do the same through Amazon for older classics that i cant find in Greece but mostly for boxsets and tv series, there are some great bargains available in online stores like the Alfred Hitchcock collection of around 15 movies for just 25 euros or something. It worths its money for sure.

Rent and movie theatre.

Don't care to own any movies cos I rarely want to see movies more than once and I just don't see the point in owning otherwise.

Cinema or DivX (dvdrip or bdrip)
if a movie is epic, I watch in at the cinema, if it's something that I wouldn't spend money on, I watch it when it's released on some torrent site.

Sadly not many movies lately has been cinema qualified...           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

sort of works well with me, since they give great service. they dont have a lot of movies that are recommended here and elsewhere.. but those i download and watch. i dont buy dvds.. not yet.
