what format do u guys upload to soundcloud?

hi im noticing that soundcloud is adding lots artifacts and crap to song i want to put up because looks like soundcloud converts it,n noticing ur guys files much cleaner,what format to upload- wav,mp3(how many kbt/s)?..

What ever bit rate you upload soundcloud crushes it to 192 kbps as far as I know.Maybe I' m wrong.I upload at 320 kbps...

DJ-sets I upload in 320kbps, as I think it would be too large a file for people to download in wav.

For samples/previews I upload in wav, as downloads are disabled anyways.

i asked the soundcloud guys and theyve said to upload in wav is the best.

It converts everything to 128kbps mp3 so it doesn't matter what you upload your high end will always sound bad.

that is misleading jonsta

it is always better to have far less conversions.

if possible upload wav and let them do the one conversion.
