I think ocelot did a typo, he invented Eurotrance, not Neurotrance.

It was actually the slogan of the old label Deja Vu Records.. (May it rest in peace)
The best way to end a discussion is to contaminate it with facts, this cd was released 6 years ago, probably long before you moved to the zoo.

neurotrance is a complex word made of the words neuron and trance and was not invented by ocelot. though, i' m quite sure you'd die to have even 10% of his musical talent all you wellwishers. anyways, keep on rockin!

I wouldn't go as far as dieing, even for the whole 100% of his talents. But yes, his music deserves attention. And he seems like an interesting character too. I realized that wildely exaggerated statements are just a part of his colorful persona.  |

@ Ocelot, you are HILARIOUS. I hope that you are kidding, because if you really believe you are the creator, than your reality is a really cloudy one.
I like the scientific explanation the best. Neurotrance makes me feel funny..and that's what i associate it with the most..

You can have a doctorate in Sound design and write books on musical theory, but the presentation of your being can be perceived many ways..i see no wellwishing or ill will wishing on anybody here, everybody seems to be calling a tree a tree.
I mean i didn't come up with the name Tree, and i would never say that i did.

If you cannot see the dripping sarcasm and beautiful trolling of Ocelot's post, then I feel sorry for you.
dude has been around for a long time, and the album he mentioned that he created neurotrance for was released in 2010. Seeing as that term has been bandied about for quite a bit, in tandem with Ocelot's many many posts about genre names and dark music MUST lead you to the conclusion that he's fucking with you.

Personally I don't care of all thouse thousands subgenres and new names but I remember from posts in this forum that he was the first that used this term neurotrance for music - in this case his own.
Still I find it always fun to read the defenitions of all those machine forest sth trance or sth else trance.
Either one has his own style or not.
