Hey, im kinda new here, just got transfered from www.djsource.co.uk and finally found this forum with israelis, so, i am just interested because where i live now there is no one with turntables, who uses them at home and what kind you guys/gals have? |

Personaly for DJ sets I need at least 2 Pioneer CDJ's (any model of pioneer) and 1 Techniks 1200 or 2 Techniks and 1 pioneer.The best is 2 of each. for techno sets I need 1 Pioneed and 3 Techniks.
At home I have 2 SL1200 and a formula sound mixer. |

I got stuck with two crappy numark 1910 ( the blue ones) at home, and no dough to get me techs or vestax, some day i guess, for now i can pull of preaty good sets on my tt's though, lucky i didnt settle for a cheap mixer also, got the vestax 170.
if i have your attention already, one question: working with techs, do you stop the platter when you cue up? because on mine i do, the motor is weak and its better this way. |

Usually I don't stop the plater unless the wait is too long and my hand gets tired

i have 1210 technics and one vestax turntable. and i vextax mixers. no cds.
and for your Q-when i mix i don`t stop the platter. i only give it little pushes.
borris, 3 turntables??? why not 4?
