I have some vocal wav files, and there is no need to filter anything, since I took it of the DVD center channel.
Anyway, what effects can I use on it? Whatever I use sounds... Not good. Maybe a certain combination of effects?

are you looking to improve the sound or just playing arround with it? voice should be treated imo just like every other sound signal you are working ( specialy if you dont filter it) to manage the quality of the sound compress, limit etc... to play arround delay reverb ( in some vocals) etc.. i love the enigma one, sorround, and ohm boys are good for anything no ? oh last thing, dont forget the freq of a human voice wich are not like other sounds when you eq it.
( the mother of mid range..) bom |

When I said I don't need to filter it, I meant I don't need to remove background noises or anything. Quality is perfect, as it is ripped from DVD.
Just looking for effects..
And not only them. Do I need to bpm match it, or anything?

the first thing you need to do is to compress the vocal.
then you can do whatever you want you can put delay(robot talk for example),reeverb, flanger, phaser and more.
then try to put some eq - however you want

Ok thanks.
Compressing what a natural thing to do - done that already. Now I'm looking for effects.

I always use reverb(well, reverb is good for everything!!). And I like to automate delay.
