Hi everybody,

Finally I obtained a good tweak in my tau-pro for the bassline... I tryed every vst for the bassline, and came back to tau-pro.. as good as simple...

But, Im using it without any fx on the channel...

Please someone could tell me if I can use some drive, EQ, reverb, etc on the bassline at the last track -> http://forum.isratrance.com/fist-track-need-some-help/

(last song link)

Thanks guys...

for drive quadrafuzz is very good ! try it
for the EQ i use kjaerhus gold EQ very good too!i dont think you should use reverb on your bassline and if u decide to use it then really just a little..use cubase's reverb or something it should do the job.i would use compressor too kjaerhus's one of course

you could use a little bit of distortion (quadrafuzz)

if you config taupro well enough youll end up with a bassline that will barely need any EQ...

you shouldnt be aiming for throwing alot of fxs to the bass anyway           un-fucking-believable

get rid of the 125 HZ and boost it around 100 Hz to get it powerfull! also cut it above 2Khz and get rid of the low frequencies ...

of course it depends also on your preset but you should get good results doing some little eq settings around these areas...           }-->MaLiCe in WoNdErLaNd<--{

I think its best not to give people wrong advice. The frequency bands which should be cut depend on a lot of factors, and a set in stone number like 125hz will definitely not be the answer to bass eq.

Freakbugs, I suggest you look through the Mother of Bassline threads, there is some very good information in there.

I like UAD1186 attack to full release to minimum 12:1 ratio into quadrafuzz default settings, maybe on waveshape 2 or 3
