Pentons pack is horrible in sound quality but that can be a good thing. Nowadays it's mutekki/vengeance that works the best for us.

is there any way to get these mutekki one shot samples without all that rubbish loops and synth and bass samples? they sound good indeed.

so far i use thomas penton (for hihats mainly) and especially thomas penton 2 for snare/claps

for 909 and 808 i recommend the goldbaby sample packs           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

I like some kicks in penton and some percussion elements, most of high frequented stuff like hi hats or crash in wizoo accoustics also some snares from wizoo sounds good to me, and psykick or bazzism is great.
