Schranz actually is place where techno music been played and/or sub genre of techno. So you could hear it and visit it. Like Tresor, famous club, label and style.

P.s Pavel, Richie Hawtin isn't techno artist, he is more acid & alternative dance musician. Techno is quite different style, IMHO. Some tend to name Plastikman as techno artists but real techno fans don't even know that name, it is way not techno. Techno these days is monotonic, danceble, groove melody like music.
Plastikman is more Dance kind of artist, some wierd type of Paul Van Dyke or Dj Jean.

You already speaking english like german, so it's a good start for techno parties.
Good to know, is Adam Beyer and Patrik Skoog aware of that?
Please define techno! Is it Triac, Metalogic alike music or guys i've mentioned before?

Good luck, statistics say you won't have more than 100 man party for techno music.

Where do you get of being so negative man, so what if he gets a hundred peeps to his party, these people are probably in it for the music then.

Id probably be there if i had a chance.

Cheers!

um....TECHNO does not equal PSY-TRANCE ...Psy Trance forum....thanks

Hmm TRapp who are you to decide what should be talked about or not in this forum ? How can you state that psytrance is "better" than techno, while both genres have the same roots and are constantly influencing themselves ?

To the topic, in Techno parties I'm often staying in the 2nd floor cause the music is a bit less schranzy (machine-gun) and more phunkey..

you've just been listening to the wrong techno then, thunderdoome isnt' techno it's gabber....LOL.

Just kidding with you, techno can be phunkey if played right...

Cheers!

Dopamin the poster question was how many peeps he will have on party to decide whereas to make or not. This was my answer to his hidden question. I don't see much negativity in rest of being said, just runned a joke.

Thank God for Discogs

http://www.discogs.com/release/21887

This album for me was his master piece up to that moment

I played all kinds of techno after progressive psy, headed with Spiral Trax, dominated the scene in 2000. I mixed techno for two or three years. There is amazing music, but the DJs must be incredible to make it happen.

offthenutboom, it was general remark for those who don't since Schranz has nothing to do with psytrance.
Andreas Kremer is always nice, i quit listening to techno but still remember a few names. Yes Spiral Trax were
nice group of lads with different perspectives of music.

P.s
Most of genres went commercial/mainstreamed these days. Progressive Dance/House are still new for me and for others too so i still enjoy this kind of music. Can't stop listening to Deep Dish and Infusion.

Now it is a different story I play from chill through progressive like Iboga or ACDC, some full on like Mr. Peculiar or Orion, feel the force comp and the Rabbani comps... psy techno from Boshke and cold groove and my favorite music now, night time, from vertigo, parvati, Ketuh, Trishula, Discovalley, Doof, Inpsyde Media, Dark Life, Sanaton, Dropout, MOE, Peak, Golden Dawn, Manic Dragon, Apoxina... Please we need more he he!!

I also love techno. But I think it became a tad stagnant in its evolution

PVD is fully (cheesy and commercial) "pure" Trance
