Do you hide them your psytrance love? Have you tried to explain about your safe and responsable way to go to the parties and take "strange" substances?

i think you hide them safe and responsable to parties and then hidden in closet you try to explain them about safe.

No I never hide it, of course I didnt tell them about about the huge drug consumption, just "a few drugs", I had the classic father-son chat and since my father is from 1968's generation he undertood it, he just told me to never make coke or heroin.
But it was only 6 months after I moved to live alone.

Having finished a university degree they figured out that consuming drugs and a normal (responsible) life can be combined.

My parents know I take drugs. Two years ago I made a vow to myself to never lie to anyone for any reason, and to tell the whole undistorted truth and not be misleading.
This obviously doesn't apply to cops. As long as it's illegal to have or use drugs, fuck 'em.
That being said, they know that I know what I'm doing. I've done exhaustive research on what I take, and I don't overdo it either. So they trust my judgment. They also told me that they don't want to know everything about my drug use, because they will just worry about it.

hmm... at some point (which didnt take too long) i felt they are cool with the fact i go to nature parties and it would stop being "taboo" about drugs, i dont speak with them about psychedelics, but they know im smoking which they are pretty cool with it too - after all they did grow up in the sixties
i actually do need to have a puff with them once |

It's not the cops who make the laws, but they enact them. If I would be honest about being inebriated in public to a police officer, and they would proceed to search me (which they can do in my city, even for no reason at all! It's called "preventative patdowns"), I would have to face a judge.
I'd never face a politician, who are the people who make the laws. They make them, but they are powerless to enact them directly. I'd have no trouble admitting to a politician that I was under the influence
