When recording or rendering synths do you do that with FX on and leave tail for the recorder file to fade or do you record raw signal with NO FX and then apply them later as inserts / sends.

the best is what option you like the most lol,one save cpu the other let you still tweak the fx later.
sound quality is the same, it s just workflow.

I prefer to keep them raw, but that's because I have a computer that can handle the extra cpu.

Sometimes if the sound with the applied fx is what I really want, I'll record it with the fx on it.          http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

bounce with inserts and without sends.Because you still could use new additonal inserts, maybe additional eq ,comp or sth like this.
Keep the old project version with your inserts for the case you want change the insert effects before your bounce to audio for your new version of your project, the version without all the old cpu hungry insert effects.

Keep always send tracks/don't bounce send effects. And if than really on the very last stage if there is a last stage.
Anyways I always never bounce in logic,in cubase I bounce almost all. That's my way of bouncing.

You can bounce both. make sure you add the key of the bounce and the bpm. This makes it easier to use it in another project later.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

I do the same usually and freeze the midi track.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound
