its allways good that someone is trying to shout out about the fucking situation were into here in israel.
but... i dont think it would serve the organizers
toughts and ideas,if u want to do something try demonstrate in huge numbers infront of the p.m house... just a party or a big rave wont serve anything related to politics,it will just be a rave,maybe a big one but just that...
beside,it may be looked as another opprtunity to make more money... i'm trying not to think like that but...it makes u wonder...

i think that people are beign a bit harsh. if somoen wants to throw a party and do it for a cause aside from having fun, hats of to him/her.
their was some other thread where trance cultre was compared to the 60's hippie cultre and people said its basically the same except that the music is different AND THE SCENE SI NONE POLITICAL. it seemed as if the people writing this were sorry abotu it.
so now here comes somoen and the have a cause to their parties and they get blasted for it. agree with the cause or not here is somone who wants to acomplish something bigger than having fun for a few hours and he gets blasted from half the forum.
its so easy to put people down for their ideas and it happens on this forum alot, why not try to encourage people a bit.
maybe it will comercialize trance but if theri are people who want to keep it undergroudn or make ti more underground, no one is stopign them except themselves. dont afiliate yourselces with thigns you dont liek but at least dont blast people for trying to acomplish things.
back to the hippies, no one thought they would have any influence when they started tryign but ultimatly they acomplsihed a lot and if people make the effort than they can have an impact. a party is an effective tool, just like a demonstration.
and as a grand finale a poem i like tha slightly touches the subject:

this rave idea sound stupid.
from what i know the people who r being it r just media people who like to read their name in the paper.
this is a bad idea.done because of bad reason.
this is neither a rave nor for peace. and uzi is right the biggets rave is now in jenin or nablus.

Grill Meister! it's been a while! welcome back. and as i said, this rave idea is stupid. i don't think it's even gonna be a trance rave, more a house-techno-dub thing... being it Roee Chiki Arad and all, somehow (as i know the guy), i doubt this is gonna be a trance thing.
remember the "Give Trance A Chance" rave? now THAT had a purpose. did it serve it's purpose? i, for one, think so. |

there was another try to "give trance a chance" in 2000 (when the whole mess started) in front of the Court House in Ganey Saker and not many people came, comparing to the first one .
so i doubt if anyone will try to make a rave for the sake of trance again .
and this political thing, well it's just stupid .
mixing the ideas of trance with politics .... bad idea . |

kebabson i guess u r also media person who likes to see his name in the newspaper.
so what, so there is someone who is a bit famous in the organization, but i guess there is a lot of other people there. it's that the media (ynet) looks for items and it's really funny that u fall in this one. and what do u know about the reason anyway?

i think that
having a rave or a gathering in a public place, premoted by ideas is a great thing !!!
Zombi, i dont think peace is the goal of this party, i think its about doing the right/other thing.....its nice :-) only ideas :-)
