What do you think about LIVE 4.01?
the new LIVE support VST and maybe is a good program but i don´t know how work

yes its nice .. and have a nice engine to work .. but .. i still prefering logic audio 
but its a nice software bether than the outher versions |

i just love it!! and i wouldnt compare it to other sequencers like cubase sx or logic. I use cubase for almost everything, but then i throw the tracks in ableton and thats when the fun comes in.. its a great program for improvising and realtime mixing and samplingg supports vsti and its solid as a rock..

Hi, mate!
I use Logic as a sequencer and Live 3.0 for live mix! It rocks da house! I guess the 4.0 is similar but with some improvements

Really cool program !
It support VST, and u can use analog synth (I use Nord Lead 2) with notes in a midi channel.
For example: u can put the notes in a matrix pattern, and tweak the filter in the live presentation.
By the way, I´m having problems with latency when I try that. I´m using E-magic as sound card. How I fix that ?

my friends, this is simply the best innovative tool for electronic music expression either on studio and live performances for me, it simply can be used in the way we desire.
I use logic as main sequencer and I'm very happy to rewire live as a tool using all the facilities he present either on audio or midi stuff.
The pluggins are simply amazing and accurate
The latest version live 4 give us full control of midi virtual or physical instruments at a simple click and totally automated material, great and unique in the live presentations context
I love it
