dont get me wrong- i really liked b.p empire...but it doesnt compare to both earlier albumns which were very different from each other again. The Gathering is and always will be a favourite with everybody and Psycho is on everyones favourite tracks of all time!!! and Classical mushroom changed the sound of psychadelic trance forever, bust a move will always get the floor moving-
B.P Empire is just the next stage for infected mushroom and the world of music is a better place for those boys being around

Explain to me how classical mushroom changed the scene...

Did it inspire the scandinavian sound? Or maybe techtrance? The housier influences? Goa trance? The big influences to the scene were nearly always TIP compilations (the Shiva series, Phosphorescent, Singles series), and only very few artists can be put up there (Hallucinogen, MWNN, X-Dream, GMS, and very few others) in the list of "before and after" albums/tracks. As much as Infected are popular, they didn't change the scene as we know it.

texas faggott changed the scene..

I have noticed that israeliens are pretty patriotic.. (some of you atleast)...
(there's nothing bad in that)
so that might explain this..

yeah well, here's one sane (though wasted) israeli who likes to think he has a good taste in music saying - I think BPempire is a true work of musical ingenuity.

i like infected first and foremost cause of their musical prowess, which is almost second to none in the genere. if it's the piano arpeggios in bust a move or the percussions in roll us a giant, the basslines and lead melody in psycho or heck, even the violin in Kadafi and the guitar lines in none of this is real, Infected has definitly been a molder for my musical taste. by all means, it does not mean i hear Only Infected and the likes. i try and stay diverse - from scando minimal trance to some nifty ol` missisippi blues music.

Jason, BPEmpire is my favorite IM album, I think they have great melodies and all, but having melodic talent and having PSY melodic talent are two totally different things.

The IM melodies are at there best when rhythmic and uplifting, not psychedelic. That's why I don't like them. That IS changing though, and they're getting better and better (and a whole lot less commercial).

Koxbox are a perfect example of psychedelic melody usage (intelligent, brilliant, genius at times). With all due respect, the pianos in Bust a Move aren't exactly the end bit of Electronic Brainwash.

Or the ending bit of S-Range - Langer Plan.

They're just different. That's why IM are so popular, they do something else with their melodies. I for one, don't really like it, but they are getting closer to my taste with time.

Well what I really like in Infected Mushroom is:
their twisted style of composition, I can't explain it any better, it's just the style they use effects and samples and stuff..
It's just their style what I really like, especially the B.p empire
I have heard one track that has the Infected Mushroom feeling in it and that's the first track in: the mystery of the 13 crystall skulls..

well it's a master piece... !
the gathering was the first album i liked in goa... this album changed my life!...! classical to, it is so beautifull and bp-empire is the cream on the top... every sound ritm is so..right...
leave out one sound, beat, drum, cymbal, sample or effect and the album wouldn't reach the musical intelligence level that it reaches now!!!
this is not only quality music, this is art!!!
listen to infected mushroom when your infected by mushrooms and you will be infected by infected mushroom!!! no doubt about it...
