what do you take when you play live?

like depending on the stage, how many people.. etc. what do u take with u to play live?
- i take 2 cables (3.5mm), 1 laptop, many "Female to Male/Male to Female" plugs (For emergency) and an external sound card.

I have never played live but am currently putting together a live set up. Here is what i am looking at.
Ableton Live 8
Kaoss Pad 3
Novation SL MK2
Not too sure what i actually intend on doing with them yet but i will get there lol

trust me, been using live for 7 years, had the SL zero its terrible with ableton everything always automaps like shit
get urself an AKAI APC40 and u can call urself god if u want

i do not have a laptop so i play my music from CDR's.
In clubs I usually take beer while playing, at open-airs usually something stronger...
