Hello everybody, Im from Guadalajara Mexico, is there any tutorial here how to produce psychedelic trance, What programs do you recomend and if there are schools to learn production. |

Hello Exiter , welcome to the trance world ,
tutorials and tips on how to produce psy , can be found in this forum , just take ur time and use the search and im shure u will find alot of good things .
And how to produce cannot be answered in words only , has to be tried , and tried and tried . But learning on how to setup ur instruments virutual real ones , on how to arrange , produce , setup soundcards , u name it , and u can find it . But you have to specify some more precise questions on , and these questions u find when u start messing with the buttons ..
For programs ,
Cubase
Logic
Reason
Fruity loops
renoise
try finding some demoes and try them out , before u decide .
Hope you find out of something.

don't forget to read up on general music stuff first. Because if you don't knwo what cutoff and resonance are (example) you won't understand the explanations on this forum either. Best place to start:

also read this (but you don't need this immediately, train yourself with the knowledge from the previous link first) http://www.dnbscene.com/articles.php?mode=display&id=79
you will also need this to learn how to compose melodies. i don't have the links right here though... But they were on this forum, 2 links to 2 pages in wikipedia, very very handy... |
