Many types of media
- iTunes @ computer
- My DJ desk
- My DVD player
With crappy but good enough 5,1 speaker system. Or my Sennheiser HD-25 for that GOOD sound
- iPod when I feel like it on the road
- Discman if I have a CD i want to listen to on the road
What was the question again?

Either stereo/hifi
NAD C370 (2*120w) amp + QLN 612 (4*6½" + 1*12") Speakers.
Or using headphones Technics RP-DH-1200 connected to either my Vestax PMC270A mixer or Terratec Phase 24 producer sound card.
I also have some mp3 thingies, but for some reason they dont work anymore... Gotta up my intelligence and get them working...
Best Wishes

i got no mp3 player...
call me old fashioned, but when i'm out of house and away from my lovely sound system, i only use my disc man. of course it's very tempating to use an i-pod, since i could upload all my favorite tunes. but i know myself, i'd just download mp3s and i really dislike doing so... hope the discman keeps surviving against those news trends in the media player industry.
@ home i got my pioneer dj decks and mixer, all plugged into a powerful home made amplifier and played out loud through a pair of sony vs pioneer speakers (hey, it sounds good )
ok, i admit, the only mp3 player i have is on my laptop -> real player, the only way of playing

At home, my M1 Active Mk2 monitors, and on the run, my Technics RPDJ1200 with iPod (video 30Gb). Thats my 5th iPod (no kidding), but I've only paid for one. What would I have done without the guarantee... but iPod rocks, when it works.... :S |

What can I say? word! .. I bought a iPod because my discman broke. AAnd the truth is that after I bought the iPod, I also bought a new discman. Cant live without it. So much more special to play ONE cd then to have 20 albums. Connect with the music. .. I dont have a PC up-and-running. So my iPod isn't updateble yet

yeppa, someone who understands how to appreciate like a gourmet. it's feels much better to "degustate" one cd/album/compilation, rather than mass-consuming 20gb of jukebox music. but we're part of a vanishing tribe of discman users *sniff*
@nextworld: dude, enjoy your discman as long as you can. the day will come where you gonna replace it forever by something else... there's a saying: you never treasure something till you loose it

I love listening psy on headphones because I don't want to miss any "hidden" sounds or tricks
For some very odd reason, the headphones that come with an iPod produce an amazingly decent sound. |
