My audio card throws BSOD every once in a while... if it is persistent you can be facing a hardware failure or severe conflict issue... if not it is just windows occasional lameness.

its a driver problem, you are using a plugin or instrument that is creating this conflict with your mainboard. I used to get this twice a day when i had a 'vaio', now thanks to msi no more blue screens.

And btw its not the soundcard, changing it is not going to make any difference. What specs do you have in your pc?, if you're running on vista change to windows 7, and not xp just windows 7.

for some reason antares filter gives it immidiatley so now i don't use it.
But now it just happens if i play part of the song on loop and try to tune the sounds.

once during a while i had these and other fatal errors blahblah windows shit and finally i took a sledgehammer at the end and went to the local apple store after ^^
