Eran,
For starters please release your caps lock- no need to be shouting all over the forum.

Second, there are nature parties in the winter- and if you're not a spoiled brat you can have a great dance around the fire or under the rain.

Or you can go to Oz, or to South Africa, some parts of India & Thailad can work as well, maybe even New Zealand.

New-Zealand is pretty weak party-wise, even in the summer. Melbourne/Byron Bay in Australia are my spots of choice (Byron should have great surfing now too :)).

I think its time for all the dinosaurs (me included) to understand that they are no longer in India/Thailand area, and trance CAN be enjoyed in a club (I personaly prefere it that way sometimes - no hassle of driving 2 hours, police, dirt, alien faces in the morning...).

The way I see it, outdoors parties are for the vibe, the feel, the nostalgie. Indoor parties, because they are not 'traditional', allow you to experience much more interesting music.
For me as a DJ, playing inside a club allows me to play much more diverse and interesting stuff that I would never be able to play outside. it seems that because ppl dont expect a full-range party inside, they are much more open to music.

try it, you might learn to like it...

I Agree with auspexx here. the only downfall of indoor clubs is that if too many ppl come, you have a mass of ppl jumping and dancing and you're very likely to be stomped, but still, clubs can be a good thing.

i say nature nature nature....

maybe u can put better music
but something always missing in a club...

the one thing i like is that i come home clean
more or less....
and like shahar said there is parties in the winter
the paranoia is for nothing...:)
u just have to put blanket on u...
and dig hard....

Its not missing, its simply not the same thing. if you expect a full range psy-trance party in a club, of course you'll miss loadsa stuff, like trees, the good chillum of sunrise, dust (best enthusiasm indicator) and so on. Club parties are The New Breed of psy-trance (I love this metaphore ;)), and if you wanna enjoy it, you must change your perspective.

look, anything in this universe must change, or die. it goes for animal species, stars, plants, nations and yes, even music and musical scenes. if we wont understand that psy-trance cannot stay the way it is forever and must change (progress, hence progressive music...), then we are all destined to see the sunset of psy-trance.

its nothing relate to psy-trance....

if its something like tera coya i ratter stay home....

if trance in a club i prefer  something  that we see today....

something like the x-dream in the great industrial hangar of emek hefer...
but today
is like little place
that doesnt have any vibe.....

well if i am in a club i prefer other kinds of music. IMHO trance and clubs don`t match.

my preference is this:

jungle/dnb - clubs (may need some alcohol, just a nice good time with good music)
techno - warehouses/etc (when you want some 100% digging aggression, that's the music and the place)
Trance - Outdoors (really, softer ground makes you feel better the next day, and the nature adds a lot to the sunrise :))

Of course, there are good things in other setups, but overall, these are the places where I enjoy each type of music most (not only).

But hell, you can't stop to party because of a little rain :)

i think that every1 of u got a little point...
i think 2 that the trance parties B-long 2 the nature... it just feels better... its not the same in a club, outdoors u got other air, other people, other "dresed-up people"... bla bla...
u dont have 4 walls presing against your head...
sometimes... the indoor is just 2 much presure.
but i cant say that the indoor parties r not good,
i think that i`ll go with tal in this think...
the music can b better... not always... but it can b much better.
the best set i ever heared was indoor, it was like 3 years ago, in the dinamo club...
o-fear started... than MARK ALLEN... and michel from todra closed the night.
it was the most great/beautiful/artistic/open minding/refreshing set i have ever heard.
and it was mark allen... indoors :)

it's maybe a little getting off-topic..but..
first i have to say that trance does belong to nature..even though most of the sounds in it r computer genrerated, sometimes it seems to be the music of nature itself...imo anyway.

but on the other end..i can defenetly see my self enjoy trance in a club, the thing that pisses me off is why does it always have to be a small, tiny crapy club? i mean..there r lots of big buetifull clubs in israel, and u never see them put real trance.
if anyone has ever been, for example,in the ultrasound club in yagur can know what i mean
they have this really big part in the club that is open..and they play 80-70's music there!! why??
i have been there one time..and all i did all night was to sit and look at that dance floor..and think..ohhh man how good would it be to have a trance party here?!  :)

so..if the big places start playing trance is could be a great place to go during the winter.

becuse we all know..we need the space!
no fun trying to dig with ppl all over u
