I am wondering all the time , what different people do when they are on long time event. I mean when you go to 3-4-5 days open air festy for example , do you prefer to stay tuned with a bottle beer in the right hand , or like dancing around , digging the path ? it's strange for me how some guys prefer to fly all the funny time , and somehow forget to rest for a while ... so ... ?           ... no way out in the blue ... follow the guy upstairs !

In 3 to 7 days festivals I usually dance around 5 to 8 hours/day. The rest of the time I just go to some waterfall or I get inside the forest or walk up a hill or gather near a fireplace. Always with some trusted friends. It's good to stay near persons you trust and respect, talk with then while on the chill out, etc... Spend some hours with a girlfriend is also recomended.

I like to enjoy the nature's beauty at festivals, seeing how it's delicate balance depend on each of us, I get very sensitized and never throw trash on the nature, instead I gather the trash other people left behind... Unfortunatelly, there's always trash other people left behind...

Maybe it's kinda but it's really sad when you're at a river or waterfall, fully in contact with mother nature, maybe naked (believe me, it makes a difference to be naked and far away from everything man made, even clothes) then you see that plastic trash floating on the water... It's kinda a bad trip, you feel man already left deep scars on our little planet.

...Be gentle with the earth...
...Dance like nobody's watching...
.
...I don't mind not going to Heaven, as long as they've got Coffee in Hell...

it's perfect !
i personally enjoy the event if there is some really , really good friends of mine around , and share some lough , beers etc. ... it's not my style to dig around during the whole festy so i prefer to stay somewhere near the scene and enjoy the crowd , the brilliant music and nature ...
trash around could only make me feel bad and unconfortable ...           ... no way out in the blue ... follow the guy upstairs !

Well, during the last festival I was at (Samothraki), I was up on my feet 8-16 hours in a row, with stops to enjoy the view, swim in the sea, and smoke myself to death (not necessarily in that order). If the music is good, I can't leave the dancefloor - when I was in Tsuyoshi's set, after about 8 hours of going nuts to music (Tromesa, Electric Universe, Koxbox, Tristan's DJ set), under the harsh sun in the middle of the day, I couldn't leave the dancefloor even though I was physically breaking down. I kept dancing like mad for over 3 hours in that set. After that, Quirk started playing, but I was already on my way to get some rest in a hammock next to the chill area. A slow stop to rest and gather myself (well, unconciousness can be called that ), and then back to the madness.

There were other times there when me and a few other guys just sat and smoked, listening to music from the chill area (which was right next to where we set up the tents), went walking in the woods and enjoying the place. I don't think anyone can go dance for 96 hours non-stop, the soul may be willing, but the flesh is limited.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

At boom festival i was sleeping 5-6 hours a night... the rest was filled with exploring, lots of dancing, visiting friends camped nearby, finding the most delicious snack in the catering section, and swimming           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world.
