@vision dream... I suggest you start with getting some samples online. you can search and find some .wav files of KICK, HI HATS, SNARE.. etc etc... then you need to get a hold of a sequencer. and some basic vsts for bass and leads etc. Try VanGaurd & Albino to begin with.
Then you make killer Kick and Bass and percussion and leads, efx.. and voilla!

vision dream: at the top of the 'equipment and music creation' forum, there's a bunch of 'the mother of all ...' threads. these can get you started on several important ingredients for a track. also, look for a sequencer to work with (browse, you'll find demo versions). much info can be found here by reading old posts (really ) and of course, specific questions can always be asked.

Lots of useful stuff in the bass, kick and leads mother threads. Also worth having a read through the domestic bass thread. Also depending on how expereinced you are making music in general its useful to read through a few basic tutorials on creating music using sequencers, synths etc. |
