i think with 20-40k you could live in India for like 10 years. But then again no big festivals there. |

on $10-15 a day forget Europe think Asia. i would recommend places like Thailand - Ko Phangan (party island) or even cheaper take a tour of Indonesia. 3 years of non stop psy parties on a budget may get boring quick too. i found that after 3 or 6 months of budget travel i was ready to get back to work and decent living conditions for 6 months or so and then go another round of travel. middle east is also a good budget travel area - think Egypt, Israel, Jordon. I did Europe in a small van and that works out good as you save on travel and accommodation - of course travel partner(s) required to share expenses. |

Wow, Koh Phangan looks great. I love the jungle. Though I was reading about how cheesey some of the other parties are.
I may just travel to Germany for the summer and hit all the festivals there, then maybe catch boom, live in Portugal for a while then make my way to Koh Phangan and stay for a few months. |

country with most parties....? yeah i think germany is the best...different music...crazy festival season...and bordering countries are supa dooper too....ex swiss, belgium, netherlands etc...
but why choose the place with the most parties to live happily for three years....when, with the amount of money you have, you can:
-tour from mexico to the tip of south america
-tour europe to india to thailand and as east as you can go...maybe japan..
-australia and new zeland are the best for this life....loads of farms where you can work and make some money going along...and a more "western" lifestyle
-africa tour (but very difficult, aside from SA, to find parties)...marocco, egypt, kenya (kilimangiaro), tanzania safari, SA...
wow you got a lot of options (money).....use it well...
you can sit in germany/portugal (much better choice to live for weather, spending etc), go to similar parties, with similar people, same scene...and nothing you havent seen before...it can burn a lot of brain cells but wont be a life changing experience
OR
you can get on a crazy adventure and find parties along the way...this is the nice thing in psy...parties are everywhere...the more dispersed and unknown and the better the atmosphere...
plus the life experience will be much more worth (imho)...different cultures, more nature, different landscapes, on the wild side.....something that will stay with you for ever...
my 2 cents...

Yah I agree one hundred percent. If you have that much cash going out and seeing the world is so much better than party party party. Eventually partying gets monotonous and its quite likely youll be fried in the head by the end of it. You can go to some of the farest corners of the world and still find a psy party. Just look at our own forums and how vast an area they cover. I say you just travel the world man and you will find plenty of parties and like Nik said you will gain plenty of life experiences. Travel is the best way a person can educate themselves. bOM! |

But if he want a scene wich is alive and kicking, then let him! If he go to germany, he will surely check out a lot of places in Europe..
The feeling of being part of a scene, and living a new place, can be a new experience. And a feeling where people come together, together for peace...
Just imagine, finding new friends and connecting through music.... Maybe this is what he want ... This is a new place for him, and I recomend it to the fullest!!
And blowing your brain ? We all should be gone then...

Wow now thats the type of festival I can definitely do without!!
In what way are the above clips showing that mexico is special?? That thousands of people go to watch fake live acts play terrible music??
Not dissing the mexican scene at all cos I know there is a great underground vibe there but... |
