favorite single malt poisons:
Lagavulin, Oban, Laphrohaig(smoked like Lagavulin, same area), Glenfiddich 18y, Glenrothes
mostly im fan of "heavy" and smoked malts, with wood/smoked smell and spicy/cherry taste, + I love that burn on my chest, no ice/water of course and no heavy drinking with these, else you end up with the heavier and worst headache ever 
you can try the Irish malt , Bushmills, ive tested only the 10y, cant say i like it so much, but its a very good malt, plus there are 12,16,21 year malts from Bushmills

Thanks heapse mate  Yeah will get into it more, check out some of the ones you reccomended 
Needed to get off the beers onto something a wee bit classier

you ll never get rid of beer, no matter whiskey, theres nothing to drink in the summer  (well except tequila maybe) ..
but winter = malt +1000
