O, whoups, I must agree, ego trips are not safe, they surely can be misleading. For trance parties and for daily living-
How ever each day I am finding it more necessary for myself to search inwards for all feelings, this can be seen as an ego trip too, but their is a need to boost one´s love for oneself, (in a healthy manner), and in that way we become able to share our inner-love with others, or not¿?

My self, finds compliments can be tricky, i finding them trapping, they make me loose my natural behaviour and spontaneous actions..

Compliments can be tricky or trapping 
Well, for me at least, compliments can be a way to show admiration, gratitude & recognition.
It's also a powerful way of motivation.
For instance, i don't see anything wrong with the compliments you made to Astral Mike.
And i agree that silly ego-trips on Trance Partys are not healthy but i saw many and i won't be the first to judge them especially because i had already some

And dj Pena is also very good!In fact is an excelent dj,but unfortunally I don't like the sound he plays,but I have to admit that probably is our best dj in trance.
