What programs are the profesionals using in their music making? Im sitting and trying to mix at Fruityloops and Acid Sonic...What are you using?

i'm using fruity too, i kinda like it....i think cubase/logic/nuendo are the most common for working with professional equipment...i hope i'll learn them one day too:-P           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

Yeah, Cubase is looking very cool. My buddy and bandpartner has it.

Never heard of Nuendo; Can you plz tell me some?

yes...i have it since two months now...and it's quite hard some times....but it's worth learning hard...get some tutorials...they help very good at learning           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

Depends how professionel u want to be:)

Go for cubase if u are not so known in this..
Else logic! as i use i very profeesionel..
but harder to understand than cubase, wich now after SX version is just as good!

Real big studios go for Protools or Motu systems!

that's not 100% true.

fruityloops is more versatile
it supports everything cubase
and VSTi

try loading a VSTi in reason...

i saw Talamasca make a track with only Cubase and VSTi's, so that's pretty much a good set-up

im using fruity loops & reason
and many vst instruments for fruity loops
about the profesionals i think they use
cubase ,logic audio plattinium
hardware also synth,drum machines....

Software : Reason 2, Recycle, Cubase, SoundForge
Hardware : Waldorf MicroQ Rack , Delta66

i make all my recent tracks with Reason only.. and not planning to move to any other software.
take a listen, admit that i dont need VSTi

Logic is my advice..I used to produce in other like fruity loops ,acid, reason when i moved to logic i understood why its MUCH better and easier once u learned it
