I want to know how it works the arrangement...is there a beat already playing for a whole song...
how would you use reason and Live for live performance ...external hardware... just want to know i am starting to produce psy trance and want to use these programs for live performance. |

HI cerebral,
it depends upon what all equipment you'r using , I mean if your using too many hardware synths then you need to have a robust sequencer like reason, or Live (great for loops)...
about the basics... You need to know all the good bits of djing and production,

Maybe you should worry first how to make psytrance. Once there you probably will know how to play your music live. People say ableton live is good for lives (duh  ). |

get ableton live and mess around with it open reason andd voila!!!!
start tweaking...
as they said it first have to be a good producer before being a good performer.... its all about learning ur sequencers

Well, just press tab in reason, the rack will swivel around and you'll see a bunch of swinging cables and the holes where cables go. Then just take the cable from your hardware and stick it into one of those holes! Yaaaay! You need to take the glass off the front of your monitor to get it out of the way though

now i need a new monitor. tried hooking my nord up to reason and smashed the screen on the monitor..back to the drawing board..   |

Reason doesn't support hardware. FL does, but not very well. |
