HI there.....
Trance scene in Rio is far from what is going on in the rest of the country, such as belo Horizonte, Goias and brasilia, not mentioning sao Paulo, the trance capital of Brasil.
The situattion here was worst last year, with several raids to different parties, open air or not.
Nowadays, we carry on mostly pvt parties ranging from 200 to 1000 ppl.
With exception of some bigger indoor, comercial events, the cene is mostly PRIVATE and underground around here.
We are keeping up the pace of developing the public, scene, artists and options, in order to grow with intelligence, not letting the scene to become a free and outlaw territory as it was happening last year.
Also, improving the interexchange of iniciattives such as producers and dj´s playing outside rio, and bringing new and renamed artists to play here, and also taking ppl from Rio to bigger parties and festivals in bigger, developed trance centers .

Just reminding, a nice party (Utopia) had problems with policy last weekend, in Wrecked Machines live set... (Not during it, but it would have Gabe´s set).
Results: many ppl arrested (some with no reason for it) and the trance scene even more ´´burned´´ overhere. Not Utopia´s fault, but politicians and policy problems... They want money, we want fun ! 
Thx God I live in Sao Paulo and we´re not having such problems here, at least for now... |

yes, the shit happen again!
the utopia organizer promoted too much with flyers on the street, what they used not to do, was a private party for 500 ppl, when the police busted this party, were over 2.000 ppl there.
as it happened to me, the organizer is locked up, i hope he doesn't spent as much time as i did inside, 45 days of hell in my life.
after all i just been charged for 3 years of prison for drug dealling support. i hope this will not happen to him too.
the authorities in rio they want to show some work for the society, as they can't control the drug dealling, what is too dangerous, couse they are armed to the teeth, they bust parties with peacefull people having a good time, and that is a fucking shame.
one day before that happened, i made a private party with pixel here, 250 people, only internet promotion, all went nice, and seems that like this is the only way we can do something over here at the moment.
but for sure we will not stop it, nobody can stop it, we just got to learn with mistakes, and don't repeat them.

that sucks man, i feel really bad for these guys.
so, open-air trance is not allowed in rio, why ppl still try to do a party to 2k ppl??
it says here they've arrested 13 minors, whata shame.
my best wishes to those who were jailed.

Hello ppl...
The party never had 2.000 ppl (maybe 800) and never had such quantity of drugs like they said in TV... they can found more drugs in a club or any small Rock show.
We have made 1.000 Flyers only.
The minors in the party is the real problem.
But, what more we can do?!
Anyone can have a Fake ID.
I´m not getting out of the responsability, i´m only want to say one thing:
This can happen in any Party.
