what about parties in new york

well, im sitting at home, friday evening, looking for a party and there is absolutly nothing in the big city...
no parties at all, the trance scene here is amazingly shitty...
well if some one knows about good party in new york, please PLEASE let us know.
not parties like the Goa ma-GIL in nye...
that was something not from this world amazing set of crappy trance. lots of noize and too much high trebbles...
it was nice for 2-3 hours and that's it.
ok so about my post.
please if someone knows about good decent party that takes place today, tomorrow, or some day else, please let me know.\

listen listen , i know about tomorrow party, again, im looking for a party today, and i know the scene here is worth to nothing.
shitty people exapt the japaness...
well if your not here so you dont know what going on here, and that's absolutly nothing...
the trance here worth to nothing and that's a shame couse few years ago it was amazing...
progressive trance, full on ... every week 2-3 different parties...
im upset. |

Well... I don't really know what kind of scene you are looking for but please let me say something..
The reason why I go to parties because I LOVE all these trance people as much as the music. IMO, they're very open, thoughtful, and definitely know how to make me smile.  I really like to dance with them.
Seems you know much better than me about psytrance and its culture, but I just don't know why some people keep saying something like you did.. 
Won't you feel bad when you hear your friends are shitty?? Maybe.., you just don't know these people much, do you??
Hope you'll come to CoSM tomorrow and have a great time with us. |

hmm.. I just moved back to New York from Toronto and I've been to 2 amazing parties in one week.. I definitly understand what you mean about SOME people in the scene, many were kinda shitty to me cause I didn't seem to me cause i wasn't all cool or whatever, but I met TONS of amazing people, more then the assholes by far. And seriously, do you really need 3 parties of week to have a good scene? |

im not talking about the people in the parties...those people are us, and they're really good people with good vibes, im talking about the overall scene in new york, it's just louzy scene...
the people behind the scene not realted to trance, so how can you go to a good party... you understand me now...
there is good party of tsunami soon, i know this will be a kick-ass party...with color people not just on drugs...what made me upset a little bit was the nye party, i wanted to see the greates dj in the world - goa gil playing and kickin my ass, but all i heard was a really hard noize... |

well theres your first problem. You went into a party blindly.
I think everyone going to a event should have at least some knowledge of who or whats going to be played. Do some research check out the artist website
that way your not surprised by what you hear
Do some homework first
What gil plays these days is no secret. Its been like that for a few years now
not that im a gil fan by any means and mostly agree with your assesment of his music,
but come on if your in the know enough to be on this forum, you should be at least aware of who's representing what sound
or is some knowledge of the music and its masters to much to ask

well, there are at least two parties every week here if you count the fat black pussy cat, which is always awesome. And some weeks there are three parties total... for nye, there were three parties; goa gil, IM, and an awesome loft party. Seems like you are badmouthing a scene you don't know much about. |

If your bored and theres no party you can
1) Get friends and sit around chilling and being friends
2) Find a willing partner and stay home having sex
3) Buy a book and read it
4) sit at home and mastrubate
5) Go on isratrance and rag on fools like you
6) Home stereos were made for nights like this
You know it is possible to have an actual life outside of trance parties...
There is NEVER a good excuse to be bored and irritable.
