Hello everyone,
I'm another greek producer with many years experience and a few releases in Greece, of course not in the trance scene, even though it's my favourite style to listen and produce. The last year i live in Amsterdam since i was really sick about the "nothing's really happening" situation in Greece, and i'm one step to having my first release.
Sorry for talking so much, but it's my first post and i wanted to introduce myself.

My question is : What do you think about chill or dream trance? Do you like it? Do you think that it's gonna return, and if yes, in what way or in what way you'd like this style to come back?

Thanx everyone.

Alex.

Well, a good example, besides it's huge commerciality, would be "Children" from Robert Miles, a few years back. I reffer to that track only just as a definition of the music style i mean. Melodic lines, pianos, acoustic guitars, atmosheric pads and not aggressive and very fast beats.

Of course it's danceable. That's why it became most worthly such a huge success. But the main essence is chill and because of it you get subconciously most of the times, a deep sense of a chilled out and relaxed feeling.

I knew that u will mentione something like robert miles tracks... I have to say that it wasnt chill drance, it was something more like melodic trance, and yes there are are tunes nowdays sound like this, but of course with a bit more advance as far as concern technology...

If you search a bit more the different genres under the name "TRANCE" Im sure that you'll find something that might sounds similar to those tracks back in those days...

But dont forget that time is running, and technology is a major dominant as far as sounds and music in general... Now Im not sure if this kind will return, but there are new and fresh sounds that will capture your attention for sure alex...
