I try to listen to all the pystrance that comes out on all the different labels. I find nothing interesting in it at all, it's like we are all going somewere completely different then the psychedelic experiences which we so much love. It's difficult to dj, and it's difficult to find your place in a community were so many "new" Dj's and producers are present...I haven't heard anything inoovative or new intersting sounds for ages can anybody enlighten me with some new serious music something to travel with if you know what i mean

i like some of the stuff coming out on australian labels. tried tetrameth? oculus?
also like some of the new progressive stuff comin out.
i agree with u on some level because the essence of 'psychedelic' is very rare to find in the releases these days and everytime i listen to one of the so called 'dark psy' i cannot help but wonder: "wait a minute - this is not psychedelic music"
i mean no disrespect to the people who are involved in making this kind of music, its just that i dont fancy it.

oh dear .. the 489923829003784793983th thread cribbing about new music .. lol ..
anyway .. i agree .. most psy sux , but there are gems in all types of psy too , just have to look deeper .. + its very subjective , one mans killer is another filler ..and so on ..

Well yes i really don't know were the psychedelic has gone, everybody is now making money but no one is making music for people who like psychedelic and the real essence of it! Except for the chillout but the thing is that we wanna dance we don't wanna chillou all the time hehehehe Hard days for people who love this kind of music eh!

to be honest there is decent music being churned out but nothing innovative...
dance music you say tonnes of releases easily playable at a party or even listenable at the party but again...not new to ur and my ear.....
the flip side...
tonnes of innovative music being made by producers all aross the globe but just not able to market it to record labels etc....thus not gettin the wide listening audience..check out myspace as an example to see rather hear the talent......

I don't see it this way - lot of good music last time in my view - but sure it is a matter of taste.

dont you all dark music haters see the Glitter of sunrise in some dark music , like psykovsky,and terminator,and samadhi, etc etc to name a few , there is a definate glitter of light or sunrie in this dark music , i dont know where this will go, but no one does, bla bla

I am not rich and i don't buy all the releases i only buy the ones that are worth it...I am not saying that Trance of today is not good music it is and it could be also Psychedelic for some people who maybe joined this scene these last 2-3 years i am just saying that there need to be some space for some new interesting sounds that's all...People who like the 2007 Psytrance can well and good love it it is music and maybe for them it's beautiful but please i think some more creativity with feelings and expression in the music, let's move together toward being really professional and innovative and dance till our bodies are no more
