Been on these forums a month or two now, already learned a lot. I decided I should let people know what kind of stuff I make.

Keep in mind I am a full time student and only ever work on music in my free time. Either way I posted up a couple of things I have been working on lately. They are all unfinished an have a LOT of room for improvement so I want any advice you may wish to offer.

In getting these onto the internet the quality dropped but I will try to upload better versions (hopefully complete ones too).

So let me know what you think; what you like or hate, etc.

Oh and another thing about the overall sound quality is that since I'm a student with no money all my VST's are free. Just wanted to let you know in case you found some of the sounds to be kind of cheezy, because they are.

Also, I know its not psytrance, I have no idea what the hell you would call this stuff. I just sit down and start making stuff with very little objective.

Anyway, yeah. Hope they aren't total crap.

Listen that's not bad at all for somebody who used only free VSTs, you should listen to my first tracks and to tracks I do today, you would laugh your ass off probably.

I say in this track:
1. Increase the bpm
2. change the bassline from time to time, but just abit
3. you DEFIANTLY need the snare very early in the track
4. need hats in and out in certain sections here and there

if you do all the above you will have a really decent track. It may not sound like typical psytrance or fullon but it sound like a good leveled production work!

cheers!

Oh, my fault. I just sent a link for all the songs in general, I never quite realized which one was at the top of the page and it turns out that one I don't plan on developing much further.

Of these the ones I'm looking for input on would be "Just", "Drivers", "Oh Brother", and possibly 808Daze.

But I certainly appreciate the advice. What you said would probably apply to most of my tracks since I often can't be bothered spending a lot of time on drums and bass, I always seem to worry myself with the lead.

I suppose I should just make a new thread and ask more specific questions about one song in particular, I can see how my link was completely missleading as I never inteded "TV on the Set" to be the song of focus.

Sorry about that...
