Pangea Productions and Pure Perception Records would like to invite you to the 7th edition of 'Welcome to Pangea' music and arts festival, from May 30th to June 1st. Join us once again as we create a New World deep in the Appalachian Mountains and 'Return to Gaia' in one of the Creator's most beautiful settings.
In its 7th year Pangea has become known as one of the premiere underground psychedelic and spiritual festivals in the region, bringing together some of the most innovative artist in the country on one stage to tell a story through sound and visuals. As with every year the music has been carefully selected with a full range of sounds including Psy-Trance, Progressive, Techno, Downtempo, Dub, and Ambient, combined with a unique visual experience to create a New World of Color, Imagination, and Life.

I loved the spiritual and uplifting eflyer.
It made me think of awakening, enlightening, and fulfilling the human potential.
Also I like the notion of organizer bio. Imho it is a good opportunity for the organizational consciousness to explain itself, and for public acknowledgement to burgeon.

Bryan Zentz (Minus, Plus 8, Soma Records) - Portland, OR
Bryan Zentz is a music fanatic, producer, DJ, and artist living in the Pacific Northwest of the US. He has been making electronic music for over two decades, drawing from a wide array of influences. Bad Brains, Skinny Puppy, Basic Channel, Amebix, Robert Hood, Plastikman, Jeff Mills, Cajmere, Human League, Mantronix, Cabaret Voltaire, Inner City, Marley Marl, Kraftwerk and Mad Professor have all held a special place in his heart and ear.
Imprints such as EXperimental, Definitive, Jericho, Soma, Intec, CMYK Musik, Thoughtless, and Plus 8 among many others have released his recordings over the years. He is honored to have had his music featured in the playlists of a diverse range of DJs: from John Peel to Francois Kevorkian, Anja Schneider to Robert Hood. As a DJ and live performer, his sets have taken him across the world to legendary venues: Twilo (Nyc), Fabric (London), Womb (Tokyo), The Rex (Paris), as well as festivals like I Love Techno and The Detroit Electronic Music Festival.
His latest release on Minus fuses Bryan’s musical past with the present. On tracks like Empraxa and Dromes, the tension and urgency of his early Primate and Tronic output is deconstructed and scattered across a contemporary techno landscape. Meanwhile, Dialers and Anima Mecanique pick up the punch and shuffle of his 90s Barada project—the project that he originally signed to Hawtin’s Definitive label back in 1994.
Bryan currently resides in rainy Portland Oregon where he rides his bike, collects books on design & typography, and eats the occasional vegan donut.

My name is Ross and I was born in 1978 and the San Francisco Bay Area has been my home and source of inspiration for all of my life. In 1996 I heard Psychedelic Trance and chose the path of being a psy-trance musician and DJ. I make and play music inspired by the environments where I have lived, and crafted for the parties that I have played at around the world.
Growing up in Northern California placed me amongst incredibly diverse music scenes. My goth punk roots collecting EBM and Industrial led me to Techno then Hard Trance a bit of Jungle, Hardcore, Acid Techno, and then my first GOA records. In 2001 after four years of Djing and throwing parties my mind got set on serious music production. My music is formed from all of my music tastes and is created for fun dance floor moments.
I've played at events big and small throughout North America, Mexico, Japan, and Europe with many psy artist from around the world. Performing live and Dj sets at events such as Boom Festival 08', Burning Man, the Ultra Music Festival, SF Love Fest, and countless more indoor and outdoor parties and festivals.

Out of Asheville, North Carolina comes In Plain Sight, three DJs and producers united towards a global, progressive groove. The Annunaki first arrived on Earth probably 450,000 years ago, seeking an exotic beat to facilitate their trance states. Eventually we came to call them by many names, such as “the Nephilim” in Genesis, or simply “gods”. Whichever they are, they genetically engineered Homo Sapiens as perfect biological machines for dancing by crossing extraterrestrial genes with those of Homo erectus. Still incomplete, the machines required new patterns and rhythms to function to their fullest potential. So the “gods” searched, and waited, eventually finding the patterns and rhythms in Goa, India, where they studied and recorded these new patterns of mental concentration. Now their research has come to a close as the Annunaki prepare to enact their creations. Are they gods of good, or gods of evil?

Music has always been essential to CollectiveONE (Jonathan Roten). Prior to his electronic music immersion, he focused on primarily underground hip-hop. Ever since he first listened to “Logical Progression Sessions” by LTJ Bukem, DnB has been in his blood. He started going to parties in early 2000 and discovered his love of dancing. Through dancing he discovered a niche for himself Djing. In the beginning he played almost everyday and was requested at house parties. Next, he collected some gigs in Winston Salem and other surrounding cities. For him it was just about jamming with friends and listening to the music everyday. Later,he took a break from Djing in the form of a priority shift. Although, he stopped actively playing, he continually stayed up on the releases and studied artists mixes. The need to mix never left him and meeting his partner, Matiq (John Wolf), was a natural catalyst to get back at the controls. DnB is second nature to Jon, he intuitively grows and develops flourishing sets through track selection and blending seamless mixes. CollectiveONE’s mission in Djing and producing DnB is to take prople on healing journeys that are unexplainable. In his eyes, the future of music is, and always was DnB.. And that it plays a big part in the awakening of individuals and us, collectively.

Selector Cleofus - (Shenanigan Society / DI.FM) - Asheville, NC
Born and raised in the Dirty South and currently based out of Asheville, Cleofus is a DJ, party promoter, producer, agent of chaos, bass mystic, and dub philosopher. Introduced to electronic music via Moby and Orbital in the mid-nineties, Cleofus has long been a student of sound, making mix tapes for friends, working in numerous record stores and hosting an early web-zine called GoGoGorilla. Having amassed quite a collection of CDs, Cleofus purchased his first CD DJ gear at the beginning of the millennium and, with no formal training he set about self teaching himself to DJ. Around 2003 he relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina and began DJing out for the first time. Early on he acted as a touring DJing with a local reggae band playing roots dub and reggae, while introducing listeners to the fresh new sound of dubstep, and getting club experience playing all over the Southeast and even spending ten days touring Jamaica playing music at resorts, bars, ganja bashes, and birthday parties. Cleofus has hosted several weeklies, thrown and played numerous parties and has shared the stage with heavyweights like Mark Farina, Caspa, Martyn, Datsik, Groundation, Midnite, and many more. Never content with the constraints of being limited to any single genre of music, Cleofus has made a reputation for consistently introducing new and fresh sounds and for unpredictable DJ sets. Cleofus was introduced to burner culture through Transfomus and Alchemy and became associated with the Wondrous Temple of Boom collective, heading up their sound camp and producing and playing parties with them for several years before breaking away to help spearhead the formation and evolution of the mysterious arts collective the Shenanigan Society and their experimental burn inspired radical expression outdoor party known as Lurch. Cleofus currently hosts the monthly online dub program The Dub Chamber on Digitally Imported's Psychill channel. This is his 5th Pangea appearance.
