he cannot be converted. it has been tried. he's been to many festivals and parties with me over the years.
he really appreciates the music and the fact that it exists and that there is an audience for it at all. he hates dance music on the whole, but if he had to pick a genre to listen to out of the she-bang... it'd be psy. it just doesn't suit him.
he *really* doesn't like feeling pressured into liking something. the best thing is to just drink beer with him and not force it. lol he has a good time just hanging out and camping |

As he comes across quiet and somewhat reserved in person, one would not, at first, realize that Kri is on a mission, a serious quest to bring Psychedelic Trance music to the people, and to bring the people to a state of enlightenment in the process. Caught up in the party scene of the 90’s and gaining a reputation for his skills in mixing breakbeat and scratching, Kri left it all behind to pursue full-time the haunting promise Goa trance laid out for him. Now, he has single handedly created a devoght after in places all over the country, and I’ll venture a reason why.
To listen to Kri play is to remember our legacy as spiritual beings with tumultuous desires, with an innate need to and fulfilling existence on a planet that survives. Heavy? I am an eclectic international dj, producer, promoter, and burner based out of the Asheville, NC area. I am a member of the Wondrous Temple of Boom collective of artists, 1/3 of the live improvisational trio the Stereo Crickets, and 1/2 of the dj duo the Dub Brothers. I have provided dj support for numerous headliners including Midnite, Joker, Benga, Mark Farina, Dubconscious, Groundation, and others. I have played throughout the Southeast United States as well as Jamaica. I have been voted in the top 3 club djs in Western North Carolina by readers of the Mountain Express in both 2008 & 2009
Hardkorenate – Prog Psy – Asheville NC
Nate started DJ’ing back in 95 and has since progressed from playing hardcore techno on vinyl to using a computer to control four decks with Traktor. While he plays all styles of psytrance, he will be playing a special progressive morning set at this event. Expect something quite different from the usual as Nate mixes in other types of EDM, movie samples, and snippets of popular music mashed up with progressive, minimal, and epic morning trance. Were very happy to have him help us bring in the morning with some creative progressive psy grooves.
Ju^2 – iOpener – Atlanta GA – Chill Out Justin plays a wide variety of eclectic sounds ranging from psy to house to chillout, and dubstep. He loves keeping a dynamic-evolving energy on the floor, making sure the music is fresh, and innovative. He will be throwing down a smoothed out chill out and dubstep set to things moving proper.

Tickets will be available until the day of the Event at our website.

$25 entry
$35 entry to arrive on Friday. A few people will be there setting up. Keep in Mind that the Music starts at 4pm on Saturday. But there is plenty to explore while here. The Pisgah National Forest is our neighbor.
There is a capacity at this place and the best campsites are sure to go quick as many people are arriving Friday night. Please keep this in mind when arriving.
Directions & Exact Location will be sent out to the email list soon. The closest town is Rosman NC.
There is a bathhouse and showers but bring toiletries.
Make sure you bring enough food/supplies for 2 days and 1 night.
There's not many stores close by at all.
