so it supose to copy the file and place the next right next to it
so u get match to bpm loop if u cutted it right
i do it.. some time its 100% oki..
but other times after i do ctrl-d and drag the new file it show me that it quantize it to -0.0.0.1 as if the original file was not correct.
but.. if i double it 100 times.. the last one is still -0.0.0.1 and not like -0.1.0.0
so is it realy not exect ? or its just somekinda what?

well, if you do ctrl-d it sticks the copy right next to the thing being copied. If the end of that block isn't exactly on the line of the grid, then the start of the copy won't be exactly on that line. So look out... Best thing to do is if necessary make an empty midi block in a miditrack and make sure that block stops exactly on the line where you want the copy to come. Like that it will always be correct. |

I also have this situation some times...its weird indeed...for this reason now I always use alt+move to copy, to make sure things are in the right place... |

in cubase there is on top this line with filename and also numbers for start and end of file. there i see if my sample is as long as i think it is. ending at 0 means on the bar. then no problem with ctrl d |

i think that it happend only to .wav after time strech.
anyhow i explore this last night and still it happens
now.. i doubled loop and after 100 ctrl+d it say that the "wrong" is still 0.0.0.1 (original loop is 2.0.0.0)
if realy it was not in place i guess it would have to be more farther like atleast 0.0.1.0 , abd that should happen after 10 times.
i think the "bug" is only that it tells u its not place cause also evrything sound quantize after alot of copies.
so i guess 2 options now.. or to go quantize evry bip and blip (quantization that will not change realy nothing to the ear) or to leave it since it still sound as i want.
first option is for me i guess hehe
i like to be mathematicly right

Why not just hold down the alt key and drag it intstead of using the control d? I've encountered more problems where the audio wasn't exactly lined up properly when using the control d than holding alt and dragging... Especially with your grid quantize on...
When you are dealing with audio files, the file usually doesn't end exactly where you want it to... And even using timestretching can cause a little issue...
I've also encounted this using kicks as audio a couple of times...
