Hi guys...

I created a new project and was just exporting an mp3 version of it. And switched off my comp. I then start Cbase 2 days later... laod the cpr file.... and the track plays. And i notice that when i bring down the volume level on the transport bar, it doesnt come down! As in the slider comes down, but the volume remaisn the same. And when i goto the mixer, i see tht volume slider was the same as before. No changes at all! And i see the track is playing.... And no volume is showing on any of the channels in the mixer!

I then tried to restart cubase and load a different cpr... and the same problem is happening! Now i knowingly have'nt changed any settings at all. And now this problem persists on all the projects. Is it tht the previous cpr file has been corrupted? If so, how is it affecting the others?... HAs anybody encountered this weird issue? Any tips/suggestions?

You may want to check what you are outputting to in your master channel.

Also hit F4 and look to see if your outputs are correct.

If not that then look at your control room mixer, you may have routed the output to the control room channel. It's under Devices/Control Room Mixer.

Good luck           ~Airyck~

Hey mate! thanks indeed. Well the outputs were fine. But i just went to the Studi osection and unclicked " enable control room"... and its fine now! Anyways... Wat is the exact function of this control room? To me it lookds strange... because it just affects the volume control on the transport bar and the previews of wavs in the media bay. Am i missing something?

If you have more than one pair of monitors you can assign them via control room. Also assign different headphone mixes for recording etc etc.           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic
