Hello to everybody and I really hope I can find an answer to this strange unreasonable problem I have get into.
Anytime I try to build up a Bass using different software than the DAWs itself (Live or Logic)it emits totally "unstable" notes. What I mean is that if I just write continuous 1/32 long notes on 1/16 positions and listen carefully to the sound the notes "modulates" in different ways, length, saturations... And I mean building a bass just with simple SAW, all filters OFF, all Modulations OFF.. I have tryed this with ABL2, with Novation Bass Station, with Surge... all the same problem... I switched to Logic and tryed again.. the same strange effect. And the most weird thing is that if I build the bass with the DAWs internal synths (operator in Live, EFM1 in Logic) the bass notes are totally Stable! I mean i receive 4 1/32 long totally exact notes...
Why I cannot achieve this with the other synths? Is this some problem with the AUs or the VSTs??? On my PC I have never met with such strange problem...
My system is MacBook Pro, MOTU Ultralite, I use JackPilot to minimize the latency but the problem persists independently if it is switched or not...
Do I have to make some special confirguration with my Mac so that the AUs and the VSTs work properly..?
