When I have my CDJ's playing a cd, slightly pitched up or down, the every now and then the cd skips every now and then, or produce some sort of clicking sound.
It's just very subtle, but annoying, and of course not natural.
This does not happen when the pitchcontrol is in neutral position.
And to answer your question which has probably came to mind, yes this happens with original cd's.
Is this a 'common' problem?
If so, how to fix it? |

Sounds like u are using the "Master Tempo" function. It allows you to change the bpm without affect the key note. But there're some artifacts, like the ones you mentioned.

Yes, that's correct, it's the master tempo.
But I never had any problems before, it was just there one day.
How is it with the other CDJ's?
Do they also have the same issues, or have they been resolved?

It's been a while I don't dodj sets,so can't say about newer cdjs...
But I guess it's still a problem. Even Ableton Live can't handle full mixes warping without repitching.
