One week ago I downloaded the "Grey Album" (the one with the mashes of Jay-Z & The Beatles).By default I opened the .MP3 in WaveLab (v5.0) just to discover that the tracks are too slow,to noisy, like a heavy breathing sound.Because I trust WaveLab I assumed that the files are corrupted so I deleted them.Yestarday I downloaded them again but this time I played them trough Windows Media Player-THEY WERE FINE!!!In WaveLab they are still sound weird. What the hell just happened here???THNX!!!           ===>

sounds to me like u may have opened files in wavelab that are of different bit rate/sample resolution. I done it a while ago with a 24bit 48khz sample and it speeded them up, even though it said this was the settings in wavelab, so who knows, a bug in the software perhaps?

Try decoding them to wav first (razorlame could do the job), and then open then in wave lab.

If you had the original you wouldn't have that problem
