Hey guys, im experiencing a perdicament which is driving me nuts! So now i am turning the coin and asking for some help.

I was writing a track at home, i took it down to the studio and tweaked it. Now i take it home again, open up the new cpr and my system flips out.

I cant maximize the sequencer because if i open anything else for an example the VST instrument or even the performance bar it all gets restored to its former shape and position.

Now that might be a pretty silly problem but there is more.

For an example i cant change the value of a meter at the mixer using the left button (which i have always done before), when i press the left button the meter actually automaticly changes the value to +/- 0.00 db and that is pretty annoying. Now if i use the scroll i can lower the volume, and if i use the right and left mouse buttons at the same time i am able to tweak the meter of my choosing.

I also noticed that same problem in the midi inserts that come with cubase, when using arpache5 i can change values using the right click but if i use the left click it restores the value.

Now these are not big problems but it is pretty annoying if youve worked the "normal" way for years.

I am on Cubase SX3 and so is the Studio

I have scanned the key commands and preferences without any success.

Please help me :D

weird. what setup are you using at the studio and what setup are you using at home....?
it could be realted to changing soundcards inputs and outputs and asio related stuff. but that`s just a shot in the dark.

Ive been testing diffrent configurations, nothing works. Its testing my patience. It is more likely something realy realy simple, a combination of keys that ive accidently hit or something stupid. But i realy cant find the problem.

Appreciate any help given.

Next step is format c:, try again, fail, throw computer out of the window, pray i dont hit any innocent bystanders, throw myself out of the window, pray i dont hit any innocent bystanders.

i`ll pray it lands on "innocent" bystander Bill gates

no clue about your problem. maybe its something that has to do with the project file itself.
have you tried saving it to a new folder @ the studio and then transfering it back home?           if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...
