Weird coincidences.

Has this ever happened to you? Two psychedelic groups have released albums with names of two songs of mine. The one is Dark Side of the Sun by Suria and the other is Pandora's Groovebox by Beat Bizzare. I know they didn't steal it from me because they have been in my hard disk and no one else has heared them, but what a weird coincidence. Has this or any other wierd psychedelic coincidence happen to you? |

Yeah, it happened a few times with my tracks themselves: i make a track with some idea in it and about 2 weeks after i finish someone releases a track with the exact same idea.

Happened once. I made a tune, called it Happyleptic, sent it to some friends and later found out somebody called his tune by the same name.
Shit happens, though i won't blame anyone.

My first project was called Epsylon , till i discover that some Finnish wierdo took the name and release one track from 2000 till now ....
Then my friends call themself - Synergy till i saw this act on 3D Vision compilation ....
so now i keep my name and music in secret even from myself to dismiss telepathy or other form of mental illness to steal my name ..... my name is |

in the end though, does a name really matter? id listen to every track called "untitled", if the music is good, its good. |

That's why they came up with random band name generator. Don't waste your time on thinking about band name, when you can mix another track. For example try:

My friend excitedly asked me last week if a track I made while staying at his house in 2002 had been remixed by SYNERGY and released on the new 3dvision - 'The Sound Syndicate' compilation!!!!
the track ,called "The One Eye Man" has the same title and uses exactly the same samples as my track (from Minority Report)........
....but alas the comparision ends there and I could claim no Glory  .... but still.... it just shows how, spooky coincidence or not... its very hard to have an 'original' idea...... there are plenty of like minded minds out there and usually.... dont matter what you think of.... some one else has already thought of it before (or after) you

i had somthing even worest (it's happend a long time ago):
My "friend" came to me and told me that he want to learn how to produce music.
so as a good person i gave him one track wich i have finish work on it at that time (it was on the "Impulse Tracker" in 1998) and he was about to release!!!!!
he sayd 10x and went to his home to "learn" how it look's like on the sequence (Impulse Tracker).
after 1.5 month's other friend wich heard the track on my computer calld me and told me "Yakir you must go to the music store and listen to this one (at this time there was no internet to download hehehehehehehehe), as he say, i went to the music store and saw the cd with my track and with my "fried" name on it!!!!!!!!!! i was very angry on him and since then i wont talk witn this man!
fu#@$ it's annoying!!!
what can you say about this?
BTW:
The track was released on one of the DJ Ella Gutman VA CD's.

hahaha... More about me being stupid than anything else. But one time, I was playing live gig with Legohead, and I told him an idea I had for a track. Next time we played together, he played a track with the exact idea! I told him I'd kill him, but I am just going to do a better version.
