Wednesday nights - "Quality Grooves" - 8.2.06

A very freindly evening at the Mecca-Bar, with good music, good people & lot's of alcohol!
arrived around 24:30, in the middle of Indepth's set. The dude was spinning some electro, breaks & i even think i recognized some breakcore here & there.
Next up was Manuel Duego (not dIego, dUego), a very young local talent who's released his debut track on noneother than Set 6 (from the legendry Iboga Set series). After buying the Set 6 CD last week in Krembo, i just had to come see this guy play, esspeccialy when it's supposed to be a LIVE act! Unfortunatly, it seemed more like a DJ set than a LIVE act, but still it was a very enjoyable, low BPM progressive set.
Around 02:30, Itaitaiko (AKA Kukan Dub Lagan), hit the decks & he was performing LIVE! I've allways thought him to be very talented, allthough his music wasn't exactly my bag of crisps... anyway, within half an hour the place started to empty, and around 03:00 we took off...
Good music most of the time, many friends & farmilliar faces, just to bad that most of the people were sitting on the bar most of the time instead of diggin' to the music. but i guess this line is a crossbreed between groovin' to some quality music, and chugging down some good ol' beer! if that's the idea, than me-like! see ya next time :-)

yes, bad luck happen there.. manuels harddisc gone yestarday afternoon and he played a dj set with his stuff only. we gonna release a EP from him and one more track on compilation since he seeems to be one of most promising local producers now (after B&M).

10x guys for the support it was a very cold&crazzy night!
we want to say a big thanx to shahar (indept),meny(manuel duigo),itai(itaitiko) big respect !!! and to you all !!!

i wanna say big respect to Dudu and Eli for filling the place with such beutiful people even in the crazy wearher that we had wednesday night! i think it was a great evening , Manuel and Itay gave wikkid sets and i had a good time playing mine
so cheers and big hugs to anyone who came out in this terrible storm!
