I want to tell you about my HORRIBLE experiance with this host.
I run the netlabel Postunder Records and also have an artist site for my Faxi Nadu project. I met this guy on slsk, and we were just looking for a new host since our former host shutdown his biz.
Werner Brinks "Acidpadd", offered me some nice plan for 10$ yearly. A very nice price indeed for what I was getting. I was happy to find this guy and payed him the money and got my site going.
The first warning sign came when our site went down for over a week and Werner was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, I got an email with my money back and Werner was saying he is stopping with his hosting service. I accepted the moeny but was anxious, since I did not want to go so soon again through the hassal of changing servers. A day later he came onto soulseek and told me they are not stopping, but he is rather giving me my money back cause I am a valued costumer.
Werner kept saying how much he likes what we are doing and that he wants me to be his "co-admin" and "partner" and such. Werner kept on upgrading my plans for free and it all seemed pretty cool, but I guess this should have been a warning sign as well.
A few days ago he started asking me for a few dollars on soulseek. He said all his costumers are "assholes" and don't give him money (remember - i DID pay him and he gave me mine back). He was saying he is alone in paying for the server and needs a partner and I was seriously considering paying him 60$ for a certain amount of time and becoming a partner in his hosting business.
The reason I wanted to think more is mostly because of the previous warning signs about this guy, how he first offers everything for free and then starts to threaten. I asked for all the details about his proposal and told him I would get back to him the next day.
The next day, I get a message that "I had my chance to be partner" and that now we are business men to each other and he is deleting my website!
I franticly started a backup going, but our website is 1 gb of stuff, and he wasted no time and DELETED ALL OUR CONTENT.
I want to say now that Postunder is a website serving a community of artists, and we have also a sublabel of people running an active forum. It is not just me this guy fucked, but a whole community of people that did absolutly no harm!
This guy ruined for me months of hard work and made me feel like crap, and there is nothing I can do about it. The only thing I CAN do is warn people about this insane person and his very bad vibes and ways of doing things.
The guy's name is Werner Brinks, and he goes by the nickname Acidpadd online. His hosting url is: SOUNDBANKERS.ORG and also he uses: HOSTVADER.ORG

I kicked you because of your temprament and gave you fucking 2.5 gig space for free for long time (3 months), wat you telling the peaple here, i am facker? You such an .. that you are try to make the peaple here bad experience about my business. Why you do not look for a new host wat you are try aleady 1 week. Because i am the host you need.

It seems some people had a bad time.
But I am quite satisfied with his service.

ok i get the idea to try to make us look like the bad guys here, but the facts stand, and I have said what I had to say.
I moved to a terrific new host, and am happy, hope all of you that are trying to make this guy sound like a good person don't get screwed by him in the end.

You've got some nerve advertising your server again werner / acidpadd !!!
Let me tell you all of my experience of mr.werner brinks business acumen.
I had a forum on his server and the very first day he messaged me saying " Give me server rank or i kill url " -- that was the first thing he ever said to me ---- this guy is not right in the head.
To cut a long story short , this guy completely done a number on us -- a whole community of people called FSOR ( future state of rhythm ) , and Postunder records ----- all deleted !!!
werner brinks pulled the plug on us without even giving us any warning whatsoever. we just woke up and everything was gone --- do yourself a big favour and dont even be tempted at what this crook is offering cos he has no regard for anyone but himself.
Avoid this guy like the plague -- he is crooked , and has no respect for anything.
Werner -- i had a hunch and did a backup the night before you deleted the forum , so your little plan didnt work. hahah --- YOU TWAT !!! FSOR will live. |

Don´t forget that you normally have to pay for a cpanel!

This was never explained to us --- he gave , and he was a demanding asshole , and then he took. He even made me a mod on his own forum and said to me " make nice posts.....say nice things about soundbankers forum to make people want this package " and i had to lie through my teeth because i really wanted to say " this guy is a mental-case ". he even pm'ed some of our members , who he didnt even know , to come and " make nice posts " --- then he scraps it all and starts again , and comes and demands that you drop everything and go work on making his forum look nice ---- the guy is an asshole , and has no manners or respect , or concern for others.
We woke up and the forums were gone. Its normal human courtesy and good business sense to protect your reputation , and to further that by having good relations with your customers.
Werner did none of this , and i can safely say he has made a lot of enemies.
For each of those people who were on werners server , through our forums , those people will tell 10 more people each , and those 10 will tell another 10 each , and so on.
Your name will be mud werner. word travels fast in music circles , and you are a grade A TWAT !!!and i will certainly be telling everyone i talk to , to AVOID werner brinks a.k.a. acidpadd
oh yeah , also forgot to say -- the package is SHIT -- it's riddled with BUGS |
