hello everyone,
I just saw a video called "the making of dark side of the moon" and at some point it shows how they made this intro. It's a synth of that era and what they are doing is playing some notes once slowly and then speeding it up and messing with frequency, lfo etc.
So my question is, how can someone play some notes and then change the speed realtime through the synth in a software environment (like cubase with some vst)? |

This isn't 'time' and it's kind of off topic but...

No, it's perfectly on topic, this is the part I meant. I had forgotten that it was another track, I mistakenly thought it was time's intro...
Anyway, interesting video, thank you! |

There is an easy way to do this in FL studio.
Just play a single note, over 1 or 2 bars.
Then assign a peak controller to its channel track, and then link the envelope to the peak controllers LFO.
Usually when i do this though i link the LFO to the EQ, so that a certain peak on it moves around all the time.
Its easy to control the start and end point and speed with FL's peak controller |

Yeah I mean this is doable in pretty much every synth out there, just follow the video and apply it to your own tools |
