hi
just wondering what people here thinks give the best results ?
the adaptive release on the ad-limiter would theoretically give more transparent results but it feels restrictive not being able to adjust this in any way...
i also find ad-limiter to give some strange results sometimes...
just wondering mainly which one you think gives a more professional result ?
???

For mastering L3 multimaximizer is the one i prefer.
All waves ultramaximizers and the mutimaximizer have adaptive release (ARC).
Waves maximizers is very good...infact i never bothered to even try the logic ones. Waves plugs is generally better quality than the logic ones.
Stick with waves for your whole mastering chain, they do make the best sounding EQ's and limiters for mastering no doubt.

the ad-limiter doesn't work well on the master at all. I would stay away from putting it on the master.
only individual channels - with special care.
Waves ultramaximizer+ is a good sounding plugin for all mixing and mastering needs.

yeah this is what i already was thinking but i just wanted to find some peoples opinions as i have always found the logic plugs to be of a high standard but ad-lim seems to be a strange one
