Hi everybody...
Basically, i've been having problems with my waves plugins. (please no "don't use cracked software!" replies - how do you know it's cracked?)
Symptoms: a group track on which the REQ2 is placed is silenced. when the REQ is bypassed/removed/turned off Nuendo freezes...
When the program is then closed it says something along the lines of:
"plugins have been created that have not been released"...
I'm personally assuming that it must be something to do with the waveshell.dll (i've had problems with older versions before) but this one has been working fine until yesterday + it is (i think) the newest waveshell v.5.0.0.0
Any ideas on how to stop this? maybe delete some reg files something like that?

Hi,
many thanks for your responses:
@wavelogix:
I don't actually have any of the waves programs as VST's - only DX
@nolightatend
It must be some other plugin interfering with them then ...
The whole thing has become further complicated after I started another track and the plugins work fine!?
So confused... but i want to save my other track!

nick c , this problem is going to re occour ... when i had this problem , i would start a new track , load thw waves direct x plugs and the track would work absolutely fine for some days ... then suddenly the same problem in this track too .... waves themselves have acknowledged that there is fuck up with their direct x version plugs , so better install again and start using the vst version .... |

Wavelogix... i've taken your advice and reinstalled the Waves plugs and now they appear as VSTi's! I tried to replace each DX insert though with the VST but it still doesn't seem to work...
I'm sure it's waves though because when I uninstalled it i tried again and everything worked completely fine...
i'm really stuck + now the blue screen of doom comes up telling me windows has shut itself down when i load old instances....
Fuck...
I guess the only thing for me to do is to create a new partition and just reinstall everything on it from scratch...
Many many thanks!
